The end of an eight-day stretch is in sight and I'm ready to roll. Now I wonder if I'm going to get anything done on the weekend or will I sleep through it all??

Settle down for a couple of hours with a beer and some inane TV to let your brain and muscles wind down and then go to bed and have a really good sleep and let your body catch up with itself .

That way you’re ready for the 70 hours we have planned for you next week.

This is the answer. There’s nothing better than just unwinding with a beer in front of some mindless TV then naturally falling asleep and waking up without an alarm.

Ah, but that’s the catch. If they forced me to work 70 hours they’d have to pay me for 70 hours, unlike my previous employer . Like my days at Hughes Aircraft Company, I LOVE being a salaried employee with paid overtime...

I just went from being salaried + overtime to straight salary. No more gravy train, but at least I’m guaranteed a decent salary.
